Today was a hot day. Miserable. And I had decided to wear a jean vest and combat boots because I'm stupid. So. Whatever. Anyway, sweat-drenched, we scoured the assorted stores to check things off of our respective premeditated "grocery lists". We both found exactly what we wanted, and here are mine.
These pants came off so 90's goth that I fell in love with them instantly, the fact that they were one dollar doesn't suck though. Looking past the grunge for a second - if I can even manage that - they truly are granny pants so it seemed only right that I wear genuine granny shoes straight from my grandmother's closet. Thanks, Grams.
No one liked these boots. Everyone hates them. I love them. They're the perfect start to my hopefully soon to be extensive clunky black boot collection. Grunge go-go. Of course. Also this American flag bag is something that I've owned for awhile and recently rediscovered and I love it so there.
The white rosary I thrifted for way too much money which probably doesn't count as thrifting, it's the most expensive thing I've ever bought on a trip like this, so, big day. These Hamburglar shorts used to be Hamburglar pants with a matching shirt to make a Halloween costume, but I made it a DIY project because what else would I do all day? ALSO. This is my babies giving birth to each other shirt. Enjoy it.
