the truth is out there

I'd like to say that now that it's summer I have time to blog and watch things and be inspired and creative and lalala but being that I hadn't been to school for a month prior to summer vacation and nothing has changed, saying the former would be untrue. Deadly procrastination and commitment to other silly things makes me have zero motive to blog and watch things and lalala. See! I couldn't even repeat that sentence! Anyway. Now that I'm here I might as well ramble about things I enjoy.

What do I enjoy? I'm glad you asked. I enjoy clothes. And also movies. And not to mention mid to late 90s teen soaps and scifi series. On my summer to do list is to watch the entire The X Files series since it's on Netflix instant and I have no life. (think that's sad and dull you should see the rest of that list.) For the month that I wasn't in school I was watching that show religiously. It wasn't until the fourth season that I realized Agent Dana Scully's extensive attire of blazers and beautifully collared shirts were only exclusive to season one. So the show has been dubbed my background noise whilst doing DIY projects. But I've been dreaming about these collared shirts and since I literally only talk about them here I might as well keep it up.

Ugh that pinstripe up there makes me cry tears of fashion envy blood. What? And plaid matched with what I assume (hope) is a blue velvet blazer collar with a cream collared shirt and gold cross? You guys?? Why did this stop? Why.

Now that I'm positive that spunky bobbed redheads with one expression are the only ones who can pull this off I'm going to keep on cutting up my great grandmother's dresses and throwing grungey shirts over them. But more on that later.
