At first glance at those mustard yellow high-waisted silk shorts it was clear to me that my inspiration would be lemon pie. This realization was surprising unto me only because my wardrobe generally consists of black and gray and what I like to call hobo chic. This outfit I knew would be clean and old-fashioned and a little bit tom-boyish.
Throughout the day I had mini-epiphanies that all gave me a new muse that subconsciously influenced my choice. (obviously i spend my schooldays thinking up obscure, pop referenced names and inspiration roots for my outfits) (what else would i be doing?). A big inspiration that came to me in a math-induced semi-coma was Grace Farrell from Annie which I really don't watch enough. That woman had impeccable taste and could seriously work a Jane Goodall hat. Plus, she could do some great footwork in those remarkably colored clothes.
Doesn't that material look dreamy? Ugh. I would do so many high kicks in that I can't even...
